ANS has embarked on a joint project together with Ford Research Center in Aachen and the honing machine manufacturer Gehring – aiming to assess the potential of the Triboconditioning® technology for future engine development. Within this project, pilot production trials have been carried out in an industrial environment for cylinder bores for the Ford GTDi Sigma engine. Results of the project will be presented at VDI Cylinder Bore Conference in Baden-Baden, Germany (June 19-20, 2012).

Koenigsegg and ANS

The award winning ANS technology for cylinder bores (ANS Triboconditioning®) can now be found under the hood in the extreme Koenigsegg Agera and Agera R. The surface treatment reduces friction and wear, and supports Koeningsegg’s ambition to even further develop the world’s fastest serial produced car. For more information read the pressrelease.

ANS hires a new sales director – Hanna Olsson. Hanna will be responsible for sales and marketing as ANS expands into new geographical regions as well as new application areas.

Christan Strondl has joined the ANS management team as Implementation Manager, and will be responsible for our customer implementation projects. Christan has a PhD degree in Applied Physics, and has previously worked for Sandvik Coromant, Hauzer and ChromoGenics.

ANS has been listed as one of the 33 most prominent hightech companies in Sweden by NyTeknik and Affärsvärlden. ANS has now been awarded three years in a row (2009, 2010 and 2011).

ANS, one of the Top 25 Nordic Cleantech Start-ups.
ANS has been listed as one of the top 25 Nordic cleantech companies by Cleantech Scandinavia. The jury consisted of 31 highly competent venture capitalists and specialists in the Nordic cleantech sector, and ANS is now a part of a competition called Nordic Cleantech Open. The final will take place in Copenhagen in April.
