ANS won the Industrial Sustainability Prize 2009, in the category “Best Research Project”. The project is a joint research project between ANS, Uppsala university, Volvo Powertrain and Scania.

As part of its continued commitment to technical excellence, ANS hires a new development manager, Dr Boris Zhmud, to strengthen its development team. Dr Zhmud is Associate Professor in Physical Chemistry at Lund University, member of the British Royal Society of Chemistry and the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE). He has extensive industrial experience in development of energy-efficient lubricants.
